Gardening Tip
Newly planted shrubs and trees will need extra TLC for the 1st year. Water adequately. Sprinkling the tops is not enough. Make sure root ball is thoroughly soaked each week if Mother Nature doesn't provide enough rain. Let soil start to dry slightly before watering again. Wood mulch will help hold in moisture, reduce weeds and keep the string trimmer away from the trunk.
